The 2010 Ocean Sciences Meeting is a conference in Portland, Oregon (USA). The conference will start on February 22 and ends on February 26 in 2010.
Stewardship of marine resources in the 21st Century demands the development of predictive tools based on models and field observations. The challenge of developing these tools forms is the theme of the 2010 Ocean Sciences meeting. For further information, please visit the website.
We would like to invite you to our Workshop “Integrierte Werkzeuge für Integriertes Management” in Hannover. The workshop will take place at November 23 and 24, 2009. The intention of this workshop is to bring together scientists, developer and user to discuss ways to enhance tools for ICZM. If you need further information, please have a look at our website.

The “EUCC- Die Küsten Union Deutschland e.V.” is the German branch of the international EUCC organization. Their main objective is to strengthen German activities within the field of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) by bridging the gap between coastal science and practice. EUCC-Germany provides relevant information, consults and educates coastal practitioners, hosts workshops and conferences and runs demonstration projects.
The German EUCC website is a good source of information about projects, conferences or activities in the field of ICZM. We strongly recommend to subscribe to the “Küsten Newsletter”, which provides updated information about developments in the field of coastal management (mostly in German).
